I, the Cannabis defendant have always supported humanity from the very beginning of time-keeping itself. So I was shocked as hell when the English language Newspaper out of Mexico City published the following stories in 1887 about me & even more shocked when those stories were picked-up by U.S. News
Not only was my name changed to Marihuana from Cannabis and Hemp, but several other U.S. Newspapers carried that same Bloody Work of a Drunken Corporal story. See photo gallery below:

From 1888 -1895 there were no News stories of Marihuana in America (only misspellings), so I started to relax. I thought that maybe the Americans just liked reading about strange occurrences in Mexico. However, in 1896 the bullsh*t started up again with "Vintages of Mexico".
